MotoGP Q&A: Dani Pedrosa
The 2009 season was not an easy season for Dani Pedrosa. An accident-filled pre-season, with operations and recovery time included, prevented the Repsol Honda Team rider from arriving at the first race in Qatar with his homework done. Neither the bike nor the rider was ready when, on 13 April 2009, the MotoGP riders took their places on the starting grid to compete in the first Grand Prix of the season that has just ended.

End of 2009 MotoGP Season: Interview with Andrea Dovizioso
The 2009 season has just ended and the 2010 season is already up and running. It has been a year in which the Italian rider Andrea Dovizioso has taken a qualitative leap in his sporting career by joining the ranks of the Repsol Honda Team, the HRC factory team. In spite of taking a victory this season - the British Grand Prix-, performance has not been what the rider expected. After clocking up the first few kilometres on the Repsol Honda RC212V 2010, and before starting the long winter away from the race track, the Repsol rider says goodbye to the year by analysing what has happened over the last few months.

Valencia: Bridgestone MotoGP Test Recap
Bridgestone concludes 2009 with successful test and tyre compound debut
The final grand prix of the 2009 MotoGP season was followed immediately by a three day test at the Valencia circuit at which all of next year’s MotoGP entrants participated. There were four 250cc graduates including recently-crowned World Champion Hiroshi Aoyama, and Superbike World Champion and Valencia Grand Prix wildcard entry Ben Spies.
For those new riders, the test was a valuable chance to familiarise themselves with their bikes and Bridgestone’s tyres amid MotoGP’s strict testing restrictions. During the second and third days of the test, Bridgestone also introduced a new specification rear tyre for all riders that will be used next season.

Valencia: Honda Gresini MotoGP Wednesday Test Recap
The third day of testing at Valencia was short but intense for Marco Melandri and Marco Simoncelli, with the track open from 10am to 1pm but action not getting underway until the asphalt was up to an acceptable temperature at around 11am. However, it was a positive couple of hours for the pair, who improved their lap times from yesterday and gathered important information for the future. Melandri improved his lap time and consistency, whilst Simoncelli continued to build up his confidence with the four-stroke machine. The youngster was able to learn more about the working process of Honda's engineers as well as addressing his difficulties in braking and corner exit. Whilst Simoncelli will be eligible to take part in a test exclusively for rookies at a place and time yet to be determined in the near future, Melandri heads for a well-earned break before the first preseason test of 2010 at Sepang, Malaysia, on 4-5 February.

Valencia: Repsol MotoGP Wednesday Test Recap
The Repsol Honda Team says goodbye to 2009
Today, Wednesday, at 1:00 pm, 2009 came to an end for MotoGP World Championship riders. The third day of testing, only in the morning, has ended and the World Championship says goodbye until next year. The next testing sessions will be held at the beginning of February 2010, on the 4th and 5th. Until then, the MotoGP World Championship riders and teams are banned from testing their bikes.
As regards the weather, today's weather has been the best since the World Championship arrived at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit last week. The sun, the higher temperatures and total lack of wind allowed the riders to use the track an hour earlier than yesterday and Monday, so from 10:30 am, several riders were already out on the track. As for the Repsol riders, Andrea Dovizioso went out for the first time at 10.33am, and Dani Pedrosa at 10.40 am.

Valencia: Honda Gresini MotoGP Tuesday Test Recap
Marco Melandri and Marco Simoncelli continued to improve their feeling with the bikes they will use to contest the 2010 MotoGP World Championship today on the second day of testing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia. Taking to the track in the late morning sunshine as track temperatures slowly rose to 23°C, the Italian pair quickly racked up the laps as they evaluated the changes the engineers had made to their machines based on their feedback from yesterday. Melandri continued to work hard to adapt to the bike as opposed to looking for a hot lap time, completing 85 circulations of the Spanish circuit with satisfactory results.
