V8 Supercar: McNally Ready For Second Crack At Phillip Island
West Australian V8 Supercar rookie Mark McNally is ready to have a second crack at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit at the Island 300 in Victoria this weekend.
The Hi-Tec Oils Racing driver raced at Phillip Island in September when he teamed up with fellow West Aussie Tony Ricciardello at the fast and flowing circuit.
Now McNally returns to the Island for a two-day event aboard the #16 Hi-Tec Oils Holden Commodore, keen to use his experience from September in this weekend’s two races.

The Island 300 at Phillip Island is being staged as a result of the postponement of the Gulf Air Desert 400 in Bahrain, which will now be the second event of the 2010 series.
WHAT MARK HAD TO SAY …
Mark McNally - #16 Hi-Tec Oils Holden Commodore:
“I'm really looking forward to going out there and hitting it hard straight away in first practice,” said Mark McNally.
“Given that we were there just a couple of months ago we can really treat that first practice like a qualifying session and fine tune the car.
“It seems like only yesterday we were there and we've done a fair bit of driving since, so it will be an interesting format and I'm looking forward to getting back to Phillip Island for the second time this year to give it a good shot.”
