Late Additions Strengthen Already Impressive Entry List


The 66th edition of the Total 24 Hours of Spa – celebrating the 90th anniversary of the endurance classic – will see 61 cars on the entry list. With only a couple of days left before the first on-track action for the highlight of the Blancpain Endurance Series almost all the teams have completed their driver line-ups. The Belgian classic will see former F1 drivers, endurance aces and promising young talents at the start of what promises to be a unforgettable edition of the Total 24 Hours of Spa. Silverstone GT Open Race 2 Report


It was a wonderful Sunday for the SMP Racing Russian Bears squad as the team took a double win in today’s Race 2 at Silverstone, in milder weather conditions. Daniel Zampieri and Roman Mavlanov took their second win of the season at the wheel of their Ferrari F458, beating yesterday’s winners Jody Fannin-Darren Turner (TF Sport Aston Martin) and the SRT Corvette of Isaac Tutumlu and local hero Archie Hamilton.

Ferrari Challenge Europe: Last Day In Portugal


This was the final day of the fourth round of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe, at Portimao circuit. Winner of Race 2 in the Pro category was Philipp Baron (Octane 126) while Florian Merckx (Kessel Racing) won the Am class. In the second Coppa Shell race, Dirk Adamski (Saggio Racing Team) emerged victorious. The next round takes place as part of the Ferrari Racing Days at Silverstone, over the weekend of 12-14 September.

Butch Letizinger finished 19th in the first race of the Pirelli World Challenge doubleheader on the streets of Toronto early this afternoon in the Bentley Continental GT3. His race came to a premature end on lap 19 of 30 after coming together with another competitor two thirds of the way through the fifty minute race. The car was not badly damaged, and Dyson Racing Team Bentley will be ready for the drop of the green flag for tomorrow’s race.
