Olivier Beretta, of Monte Carlo, won the Round 5 GT Streets of Long Beach race, at the Pirelli World Challenge 'Roar by the Shore' presented by Replay XD, part of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Michael Lewis, of Laguna Beach, CA won in GTA, while Colin Thompson, of Doylestown, PA, won in the GT Cup presented by MOMO class. For Beretta, it is his third win of the 2015 season. Lewis and Thompson each scored their fourth wins of the season.

Low level rain clouds hung over VIRginia International Raceway on Sunday for Round 10 of the Southeastern Conference, and Round Two of the Northeastern Conference. The weather conditions teetered between wet and dry for most of the day, but the skied eventually opened halfway through Sunday's races.

WTCC - Marrakech (17-19 April 2015) - Races


For the first time in its motor sport history, Citroën has claimed the top five spots in an international competition.

- Race 1 in Marrakech saw José María López, Ma Qing Hua, Sébastien Loeb, Mehdi Bennani and Yvan Muller dominate proceedings in their Citroën C-Elysée WTCCs.

- The race 2 podium was also an all-Citroën affair, with Yvan Muller taking the honours ahead of Sébastien Loeb and José María López.

Max Bianchi Wins Inaugural Race Of GT Sports Club


Italian Max Bianchi (#23 Kessel Racing Ferrari) won the first race of the new GT Sports Club on the Circuit de Catalunya. The Italian preceded two other Ferrari-drivers, Frenchman Cedric Mezard (#8 Scuderia Villorba Corse) and Belgian Patrick Van Glabeke (#42 AF Corse). Stefano Pezzucchi (#35 Krypton Motorsport Porsche), who dominated most of the weekend, had to retire in the early stages of the main race. Victory in the Iron Cup went to Michael Luzich (#54 AF Corse Ferrari), while Wong Yau Runme (#38 Kessel Racing Ferrari) won the Cup Challenge.

Young Italian driver Eric Scalvini (Abarth 695 Assetto Corse Evolution) won the first round's second race of the Trofeo Abarth Selenia Europe and the National Trophy AciSport Abarth Selenia Italy, held at Monza. Under the checkered flag Eric precedes countryman Maurizio Campani and Finnish frontrunner Juuso Pajuranta. With this success Scalvini takes the lead of the overall standings in both Abarth championships, in which precedes Campani and Swedish Lilja, winner of the first race yesterday (Saturday 18th).

Successful season opener in France

Audi customer team Sébastien Loeb Racing started the 2015 French GT Championship season in fine form. In the first race at the Circuit de Lédenon, the three Frenchmen David Hallyday, Philippe Gaillard and Mike Parisy took a well-deserved second place. Directly at the start of the 90-minute race, the #3 Audi R8 LMS ultra was involved in an exciting four-way battle. In the end, the Loeb trio were only six seconds behind the winners. The second race was cancelled due to heavy rainfall.

Greg Dowie, will be starting his 2015 race season in the 750 Motor club, K-Tec Racing Clio 182 Series with Go Racing Motorsport.

Greg’s love for motorsport began with the British Touring Car Championship in 2006/2007 when he assisted preparing the cars for race day. From there his passion grew and he aims to be British Touring Car Driver. In 2009 Greg attended a track day in Middlesbrough with Racestar.
