RSR Racing Finishes 1-2 At The Indianapolis Brickyard Grand Prix


RSR Racing drivers Jack Hawksworth and Bruno Junqueira battled nose to tail for the final thirty minutes of the inaugural Tudor United Sportscar Championship Brickyard Grand Prix with the 23 year old Briton just edging Indycar and Sportscar veteran Junqueira by 1.422 seconds after two hours and forty five minutes of action.

Running fourth in the closing laps of the Brickyard Grand Prix, Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajainian was looking to break into the podium ranks on Friday night at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. But the long green-flag run to the checkered flag took its toll as the team, along with most of the Prototype runners, had to surrender the track position with a quick visit to pit lane for fuel to the finish to score sixth in Round 8 of the IMSA TUDOR SportsCar Championship.

Fifth and Seventh Place Finishes for ESM Patron in Indy Debut


Following a promising start to the weekend as the two fastest cars in opening practice and sweeping the front row in qualifying, Extreme Speed Motorsports’ (ESM) Brickyard Grand Prix proved to be challenging. With less than 10 laps to go, both Tequila Patrón-sponsored Honda Performance Development ARX-03b (HPD) pitted for a splash of fuel to reach the scheduled race distance. In the end, the ESM machines finished fifth and seventh.

Porsche North America took advantage of the high-speed layout of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course to capture a podium finish in the Brickyard Grand Prix today. The No. 912 Porsche North America Porsche 911 RSR finished in third-place in the highly competitive GT Le Mans class of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The team used all of its assets, including several early caution periods and expert pit work, to earn the its highest finish since winning the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring in March.
