Action Express Gets On Track With The Corvette C7 DP


Action Express Racing took to the high-banks and twisting turns of the historic Daytona International Speedway Monday in preparation for the 53 rd annual Rolex 24. The session was the first at Daytona for Action Express Racing ahead of the 'Roar Before the 24' and the first laps for any of the Chevrolet teams of the new Corvette C7 Daytona Prototype body.

Darren Law To Join Flying Lizard Motorsports Management Team


Effective November 24th 2014, notable racer and motorsports businessman Darren Law will join Flying Lizard Motorsports as Program Manager in the team's continued sports car efforts. Previously a driver for the California based team, Law will leave his role as Chief Operations Officer at Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, he will be involved in team management and operations, manage the race team's relationships with manufacturers, partners, sponsors and customers as well as driver coaching and driver development.
"It is great to have Darren back as a Lizard," said Team Principal and Driver Seth Neiman. "He has remained close to the team in the years since he drove with us, and in some ways it feels like he never left. His time as COO at Bondurant gives him great insight into the business of racing, sponsors, and manufacturer partnerships – I expect he will have a big impact in these and many other areas."

Rll Announces Key Promotions And Additions To Sports Car And Indy Car Programs


Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) announced three key engineering appointments today.

Assistant engineer Uwe Wolf, who will be starting his ninth season with the team over two employment terms, has been promoted to race engineer for the TUDOR United SportsCar program. The first of two key appointments for the Verizon IndyCar Series program is Mike Talbott, who was most recently senior trackside engineer with Wirth Research in support of Honda Performance Development’s Indy car program and worked with driver Graham Rahal at Newman/Haas/Lanigan Racing (NHLR) in 2008. Talbott will lead the vehicle dynamics program. Martin Pare, who was race engineer for Rahal at NHLR from 2009-2010 and at Chip Ganassi Racing in 2011-2012 has joined the team as head of the vehicle ride control development program.
