It was a quick turnaround for Ohioís Michael Shank Racing with Curb/Agajanian following the Sahlenís 6 Hours of the Glen held less than two weeks ago. And with the Glen event not having yielded the result the team had hoped for due to a broken suspension part, Michael Shank Racing heads to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) in Bowmanville, Ontario for Round 7 of the IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship targeting another podium performance.

Victory For Starworks Motorsport At 2015 Six Hours Of The Glen


Starworks Motorsport picked up their second consecutive Prototype Challenge race victory in the Sahlenís Six Hours of The Glen, 26-27 June, 2015, on the back of winning at the Chevrolet Sports Car Classic presented by Metro Detroit Chevy Dealers last month. The #8 Starworks Motorsport Oreca Chevrolet FLM09 has now won the most races of any car in any class since the start of the new TUDOR United Sportscar Championship in 2014.

The Sahlenís Six Hours of the Glen weekend seemed like it would result in a wealth of hardware for Spencer Pumpelly running in both the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the Continential Tire SportsCar Challenge. Though Park Place Motorsports and Rennsport One each gave Pumpelly a fast Porsche, overzealous drivers and mechanical gremlins prevented him from stepping onto the podium at Watkins Glen International.

Gavin's Tudor Championship Dry Spell Continues In Rain-Affected Six Hours Of The Glen


Treacherous weather conditions ultimately led to Oliver Gavinís demise in Round 5 of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and the third instalment of the Tequila Patrůn North American Endurance Cup Ė the Sahlenís Six Hours of The Glen Ė at Watkins Glen International (26-28 June).
Gavin and his American Corvette Racing teammate, Tommy Milner, started from sixth in the GTLM category and both drivers were positive about the #4 Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rís potential in all conditions, with a heavy rainstorm looming for the main event on Sunday (28 June).

Porsche Earns Wet Gtlm Class One-Two Finish, Second In Gtd At The 34th Sahlen's Six Hours Of The Glen


The No. 17 Team Falken Tire Porsche 911 RSR scored an impressive GT Le Mans (GTLM) class yesterday in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship race at Watkins Glen International Raceway. Team Porsche North America finished second with their No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR co-driven by Factory Drivers JŲrg Bergmeister and Earl Bamber. Bamber is fresh from his overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans two weeks ago. This win is the first GTLM win of the season for Porsche, and the first since Team Falken Tire won at the 2014 season ending Petit Le Mans in Atlanta, GA.

NeverGiveUp continued following Scuderia Corsa at the Six Hours of the Glen. After a month-long rebuild of the no. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 458 Italia, drivers Bill Sweedler and Townsend Bell rewarded the team's effort with a fourth-place finish in Sunday's Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen. The Six Hours was not only the fifth round of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship's GT-Daytona class, but also the third event of the Patron North American Endurance Cup.

BMW Team Rll Survives To Finish Third In Sahlen's Six Hours Of The Glen; Rain Reigns At Watkins Glen, But BMW Leads GTLM Class


Bill Auberlen and Dirk Werner drove the No. 25 BMW Z4 GTLM to a third place finish in today's very wet Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen. The duo completed 157 laps of the 3.4-mile, 11-turn Watkins Glen International circuit with the race slowed by eight caution periods and red flagged during the worst downpour for 14 minutes. The race ended behind the BMW M4 safety car during the last yellow flag with the victory going to the No. 17 Porsche.

Team Falken Tire rolled the dice and came up a winner in Sundayís rain-plagued Sahlenís Six Hours of The Glen, taking the checkered flag in the GT Le Mans (GTLM) class with virtually no fuel in the tank as Round 6 of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship finished under caution.
The No. 17 Porsche 911 RSR of Wolf Henzler and Bryan Sellers went to the lead at Watkins Glen International as the other contenders in the GTLM class pitted following a 14-minute red flag delay.

Action Express Racing Socres One Podium And A Fourth Place In A Soggy Sahlen's Six Hours Of The Glen


Action Express Racing battled the weather and treacherous track conditions, earning a third and fourth place finish in the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen.

Christian Fittipaldi took the Green Flag from the pole position in the Mustang Sampling Cider Tree Chevrolet Corvette Daytona Prototype and led the majority of the first hour of the event. When the first full course yellow was displayed near the thirty-minute mark, Fittipaldi pitted while teammate Dane Cameron remained on track.

Watkins Glen Race Report: Mazda Prototype Earns Top-Five Finish


When driver Joel Miller took the checkered flag to complete 144 laps of the Watkins Glen International race course, it moved the Mazda Prototype team into fifth place in the Prototype class. Fifth is the best-ever Prototype class finish for the 2.2-liter SKYACTIV diesel engine in the TUDOR United SportsCar Series. The Sahlenís Six Hours at the Glen was run under dark skies, with varying degrees of precipitation from light drizzle to torrential downpours, and was won by the Corvette Daytona Prototype driven by Richard Westbrook and Michael Valiante. The Glen marks the sixth of ten races in the TUDOR Championship season.
