Michelin Helps Corvette Claim First Win For C.R at Long Beach


Corvette Racing claimed the first victory for the seventh generation Corvette C7.R in dominant fashion in the GT Le Mans (GTLM) class at the Grand Prix of Long Beach. The third event of the 2014 TUDOR United SportsCar Championship saw Michelin and its technical partner teams claim the first seven positions in the highly competitive race.

Risi Competizione Takes The Checker At Long Beach!


After 100-minutes and 75 laps around the streets of Long Beach in California, Round 3 of the TUDOR United Sportscar Championship, the Risi Competizione Ferrari 458 Italia this afternoon took the checkered flag for the first time this season. Finishing 9th place in GTLM, the No.62 was a long way from the winning No.3 Corvette of Magnussen and Garcia, the drivers having battled with a balance and grip issue all weekend. There were still, however, positives to be gained from the experience.

Corvette Racing At Long Beach: First Victory For New Corvette C7R


Corvette Racing won its first race with the new Chevrolet Corvette C7.R on Saturday at Long Beach as Antonio Garcia and Jan Magnussen dominated in their No. 3 Corvette to take the GT Le Mans class of the Patrón Sports Car Showcase. The duo led all but one lap and took the checkered flag by 5.408 seconds in the third round of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.

Corvette Daytona Prototypes took two of the three podium steps Saturday in the Patrón Sports Car Showcase, the third round of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. Wayne Taylor Racing’s Jordan Taylor and Ricky Taylor placed second in the 100-minute race at the Long Beach street circuit, the first visit to the venue for the Corvette DPs.

Trio of Porsche 911 RSR Fight Streets of Long Beach and GT Competition in Tudor Sprint Race


The trio of Porsche 911 RSR entered in today’s Tequila Patrón Sports Car Showcase at Long Beach fought both the city streets of Southern California and the competition, and left retaining the lead in the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship GT Le Mans (GTLM) class Manufacturer Championship point standings. The No. 911 Porsche North America Porsche 911 RSR of Nick Tandy (Great Britain) and Richard Lietz (Austria) took the checkered flag in fourth-place with the team car, the No. 912 of Playa del Rey, California’s Patrick Long and Denmark’s Michael Christensen, fifth in class. The No. 17 Team Falken Tire Porsche 911 RSR finished eighth.
