NHRA: John Force Racing Gainsville Race Preview - Hight Ready To Take Bite Out Of Gatornationals
2009 Funny Car champion Robert Hight spent the off-weekend before the 41st annual Tire Kingdom Gatornationals in Bakersfield, California at the 2010 March Meet enjoying some nostalgia Funny Car racing action. The roar of the Funny Cars and front engine dragsters only revved up Hight’s eagerness to get back on the track himself behind the wheel of his Auto Club Ford Mustang.

NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Series To Make Debut At Gatornationals
NHRA’s newest national touring series will make its debut at the Tire Kingdom NHRA Gatornationals: The NHRA Get Screened America Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.
Conducted for nine seasons as an exhibition at select NHRA national events, the new series will feature some of the world’s fastest and most unique doorslammer cars, featuring an eclectic mix of vintage and late model body styles, in quarter-mile competition. A diverse group of drivers in the series will compete for Wally trophies, official NHRA points and world championship titles.

NHRA: Hight And Force Take In World Of Outlaws In Tulare
Late last Friday night 14-time NHRA Funny Car champion and 2009 NHRA Funny Car champion took in some World of Outlaw sprint car action as the guests of three time NHRA world champion Gary Scelzi. The trio of Funny Car champions settled into their seats at Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway, located 45 minutes south of Fresno, for an evening of dirt track racing and reminiscing. Scelzi’s passion for dirt track racing has been growing exponentially as his two sons, Dominic and Giovanni, continue to develop as drivers.

NHRA: Force and Hight Enjoy Time at Smokers Reunion
Over the weekend 2010 March Meet Grand Marshal John Force and 2009 NHRA Full Throttle Funny Car champion Robert Hight enjoyed a trip down memory lane. The weekend started on Friday night with an appearance at the Smokers Reunion in Bakersfield. The tandem arrived just in time to hear a front engine dragster fire in the parking lot before they moved into the hall to talk with assembled club members.

NHRA: Pro Stock Motorcycle Category Makes 2010 NHRA Debut At Gatornationals
The high-revving excitement of NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle competition will make its 2010 NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series debut at the Tire Kingdom NHRA Gatornationals when qualifying opens for the two-wheel category on Friday, March 12 at historic Gainesville Raceway.
The Tire Kingdom NHRA Gatornationals, the third of 23 events in the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series and first of 17 for the Pro Stock Motorcycle category, will be held March 11-14 at historic Gainesville Raceway.

In an unprecedented move, NHRA officials rescheduled the completion of Pro Stock eliminations for the NHRA Arizona Nationals two weeks ago in Phoenix to the scheduled qualifying sessions at the Tire Kingdom NHRA Gatornationals this weekend at historic Gainesville Raceway.
