Red Bulls Tim Cahill And Roy Miller Called Up For International Duty
New York Red Bulls midfielder Tim Cahill (Australia) and defender Roy Miller (Costa Rica) were called up by their respective national teams for upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying Matches. Cahill will leave after New York’s May 26 game against the Columbus Crew at Red Bull Arena at 5:00 PM ET while Miller will depart following the team’s match versus Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Red Bull Arena on June 1 at 7:00 PM ET.

Referee Candidates For The 2014 FIFA World Cup To Participate At A Seminar In Rio De Janeiro
The 52 referee candidates for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil will convene in Rio de Janeiro from 25-31 May 2013 for a comprehensive preparation seminar. Media representatives are cordially invited to a photo opportunity with the 52 match officials, FIFA’s Head of Refereeing Massimo Busacca as well as Arthur Antunes Coimbra, known worldwide as Zico, on 27 May 2013 at 15h30 at the Zico Football Centre (CFZ). Please note that this is only a photo and filming opportunity, no interviews will be given prior to the end of the seminar.
To conclude the preparation seminar, former two-time FIFA World Cup referee Massimo Busacca and Arnaldo Cezar Coelho, match official at the 1982 FIFA World Cup final, will talk about the road to the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the changes in the world of refereeing since 1982. The event will take place on 31 May at the Windsor Barra Hotel, Sala Versailles 2 at 13h00.
