2011 Martinsville II: RCR NASCAR Truck Race Preview


RCR's NCWTS History ... In 204 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Richard Childress Racing has earned 24 wins, 77 top-five finishes, 124 top-10 finishes and 28 pole awards, along with the inaugural series championship in 1995 with Mike Skinner. The organization has an average starting position of 9.8 and an average finishing position of 10.3.

A Winning Tradition at Martinsville ... RCR drivers Mike Skinner and Jay Sauter earned Martinsville wins in the NCWTS in 1996 and 1998, respectively. In addition, Skinner earned a pole award for RCR at the track in 1995.

99.9 percent ... RCR has completed 2,116 out of 2,117 laps attempted in nine previous Martinsville appearances, with zero DNF's among four drivers (Skinner, Sauter, Austin Dillon and Joey Coulter). RCR drivers have led 314 laps at the track, with an average starting position of 16.1, and an average finish position of 8.7.
