Kansas Speedway Track Reconfiguration And Road Course Project
This week as part of Kansas Speedway’s track reconfiguration and road course project, crews are working on filling in the drainage areas between the oval and the apron and have also been continuing work on the infield road course.

|
For part of the road course construction, 500 truckloads of soil had to be removed on the frontstretch (attached photo). The removal was necessary as crews work on the transition from the frontstretch to the apron to the road course.
Crews are also scheduled work on paving the road course this week (weather permitting).
