Ranger’s win was his fourth in the event over the last six years.
The race started in wet conditions and the field started on rain tires and under a caution flag. Goodyear supplies bias-ply tires, both slicks for dry conditions and grooved for the wet, for the Series. The tires come from the same line that Goodyear supplies for NASCAR’s K&N East and West programs.
Ranger averaged 60.122 mph for the 44-lap chase around the 1.53-mile venue. There were just three caution periods.
L.P. Dumoulin finished second, 2.096 seconds behind the winner. J.R. Fitzpatrick, who surrendered the lead to Ranger, took third. Robin Buck and D.J. Kennington capped the top five finishers. Dumoulin won the pole with a qualifying lap averaging 81.214 mph.
