2012 Kentucky II: NASCAR Nationwide Qualifying Results - Dillon, Chevrolet On Pole!

Austin Dillon and his No. 3 Advocare Chevrolet won the Coors Light Pole Award for the Inaugural Kentucky 300 with a lap of 30.463 seconds, 177.264 mph. This is his third pole in 38 NASCAR Nationwide Series races and his third pole and 21st top-10 start in 2012. This is also his second pole in two races at Kentucky Speedway.
Starting second, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and his No. 6 Ford EcoBoost Ford posted his 23rd top-10 start of 2012 and his fourth in four races at Kentucky Speedway.
Qualifying third, Sam Hornish Jr. and his No. 12 Alliance Truck Parts Dodge posted his second top-10 start at Kentucky Speedway. It is his 19th in 27 races this season.
Drew Herring and his No. 18 SportClips Toyota was fourth fastest with Michael Annett and his No. 43 Pilot/Flying J Ford rounding out the top five qualifiers
Overall, 43 NASCAR Nationwide entries attempted to qualify for today's race.
