2012 New Hampshire II: NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Results - Hamlin, Toyota Win!

In front of 98,000, Denny Hamlin and his No. 11 FedEx Freight Toyota won the 16th Annual Sylvania 300, his 22nd victory in 251 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his fifth victory and 14th top-10 finish in 2012. This is also his second victory and 10th top-10 finish in 14 races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The victory today is the 100th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win for Joe Gibbs Racing: Tony Stewart (33), Denny Hamlin (22), Bobby Labonte (21), Kyle Busch (20), Dale Jarrett (2) and Joey Logano (2).
Finishing second, Jimmie Johnson and his No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet posted his 15th top-10 finish in 22 races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It is his 19th top-10 finish in 2012.
Grabbing third, Jeff Gordon and his No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet posted his 21st top-10 finish in 36 races at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
Clint Bowyer and his No. 15 5-hour Energy Toyota finished fourth with Kasey Kahne and his No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet rounding out the top five.
Stephen Leicht was the highest finishing rookie, he finished 34th.
Jimmie Johnson leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings by a single point over Brad Keselowski.
