• Rheem Chasing the Cure... For the second year in a row, Rheem has launched Rheem Chasing the Cure-a month-long program benefitting the Young Survival Coalition (YSC). The YSC is an organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. During National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Rheem will orchestrate a multi-faceted program designed to raise funds for YSC while promoting breast cancer awareness. Fans are invited to share their stories illustrating personal victories over breast cancer by posting a video on the Rheem Racing Facebook page (Facebook.com/RheemRacing). The Rheem Chasing the Cure video contest, which runs through Oct. 21, will give one lucky fan the chance to win a Rheem Racing VIP experience for two during the 2013 NASCAR season.

• Rheem Chevrolet goes pink and black for breast cancer awareness... The No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet driven by Cale Gale in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will have a new look this weekend as it turns pink and black to promote breast cancer awareness. The Eddie Sharp Racing (ESR) Silverado will highlight Rheem's Chasing the Cure program throughout the month of October including the Coca-Cola 250 presented by fred's at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway and the Kroger 200 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.
• Sweet Home Alabama... Gale will return to his home state of Alabama to compete at the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon. Gale grew up just 250 miles south of the speedway in Mobile, Ala., and cut his teeth on short tracks across the state.
• Taking on Talladega... Cale Gale will make his second career NCWTS start at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, Oct. 6. In his last NCWTS race at NASCAR's longest track, Gale's Chevrolet lost its side window and was black-flagged by NASCAR. Gale had to come down pit road for his team to replace the window, and in the process went three laps down. After rolling off 19th in the October 2007 event, Gale was scored with a 22nd-place finish. Additionally, Gale made on NASCAR Nationwide Series start at the 2.66-mile superspeedway where he qualified ninth and finished 22nd after being involved in an on-track incident.
• Meet Cale Gale... Gale will join his ESR teammate Justin Lofton at the Chevy Stage at 1:45 p.m. CT on Friday afternoon. The duo will be available to answer fans' questions and sign autographs. Following the appearance, the ESR drivers will be at the NCWTS autograph session, which will take place under the OV Hill South Grandstands at 2:15 p.m. CT.
• Battling for Points... With just five races remaining in the 2012 NCWTS season, Gale is currently ranked inside the top 15 in both the championship driver and owner point standings. Gale, who has scored five top-10 finishes this season, is ranked 13th in driver points and 15th in owner points. Currently second in the Rookie of the Year points, Gale is in hot pursuit of leader Ty Dillon.

From the Driver's Seat
Cale Gale Quotes... On his expectations for Talladega Superspeedway: "The track at Talladega Superspeedway is wider than Daytona and the length is a little bit longer. There's more room for trucks to maneuver around and race side-by-side. The track surface is smooth-it's really just all about speed and drafting. The start finish line is pretty far down the tri-oval, which makes it a little different than most places when it comes to racing your line during qualifying and coming to the checkered flag. We ran really well in the Rheem Chevrolet at our other plate race in Daytona earlier this year, and I feel confident that we'll have another fast Silverado again this weekend."

On racing at home: "It's a lot of fun to be able to go home and race in Alabama. I was able to race in the ARCA race in Mobile, Ala. earlier this year and won the race. It was by far one of the coolest moments in my racing career. I have a lot of friends and family that will be in the grandstands cheering me on this weekend, and I'm looking forward to being able to give them a good show."

On Chasing the Cure with Rheem: "I'm really excited to be a part of the Rheem Chasing the Cure program this month. Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women and also has occurrences in men, so clearly it's important to raise awareness about it. Fortunately, I'm in a position where I can join Rheem to turn our truck pink and embrace theChasing the Cure program to help the cause. With so many people engaged in their own battle against breast cancer-including the friends and family members of our own ESR team-I'm very proud to be able to race the Rheem Chasing the Cure
Chevrolet."

From the Pit Box
Jerry Baxter Quotes... On racing at Talladega: "We're looking forward to getting to Talladega Superspeedway this weekend. Our Rheem Chevrolet was really strong in the last plate race and I feel like we'll be good again this weekend. We're taking the same chassis that we used in Daytona, but we had to replace the front clip and recondition the truck after the last race. We're meshing really well as a team and building momentum for our program, plus this is Cale's home track. As long as we can stay out of trouble, we definitely have high expectations for this weekend."

No. 33 Rheem Chasing the Cure Chevrolet Silverado Truck Information
The No. 33 Rheem Chevrolet team will compete with chassis No. 052 as their primary truck at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend. It is the same chassis that Gale raced earlier this season when a mid-race accident removed him from contention. Since that event, the truck has been reconstructed and reconditioned to prepare for Saturday's race.
