Bullet Liner And FOAMETIX Back Aric Almirola And No 5 Wauters Motorsports Ford F150 At Talladega NASCAR Camping World Truck Series

Bullet Liner and FOAMETIX®, already established participants in the motorsports world, will be back in in action this weekend in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series fred's 250 Powered By Coca-Cola at Talladega Superspeedway this Saturday, joining Jordan Truck Sales as sponsors of the No. 5 Wauters Motorsports Ford F150 and driver Aric Almirola.

The 94-lap, 250-mile race can be seen live on SPEED this Saturday, October 6, at 4 p.m. EDT/1 p.m. PDT and will feature an onboard camera on the No. 5 Bullet Liner/FOAMETIX® Ford. This afternoon’s qualifying session to set the starting field can be seen live on SPEED at 5 p.m. EDT/2 p.m. PDT.

Bullet Liner offers an advanced polyurea coating system that provides maximum protection for pickup truck beds and other applications. FOAMETIX® is a leader in spray-applied foam insulation systems for residential and commercial structures.

This weekend’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team sponsorship is the latest initiative in what has already been a successful season of motorsports-oriented partnerships for both companies.

Longtime sports car racing team FOAMETIX®/Burtin Racing with Goldcrest Motorsports was an inaugural participant in NASCAR’s first GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series North American Endurance Championship (NAEC) this year. Lead drivers Claudio Burtin and Martin Ragginger co-drove the No. 17 FOAMETIX® Porsche GT3 to a career-best top-10 overall and sixth-place GT class finish in the Brickyard Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) in July, the third and final round of the NAEC.

“Our involvement in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is a natural fit for our product offering,” said Burtin, CEO of Bullet Liner and FOAMETIX®. “We believe this will be the right combination to help raise our brand awareness and ultimately generate new business opportunities for Bullet Liner and FOAMETIX® while expanding our overall motorsports reach to another segment of the sport.”

Promoting an innovative pickup truck bed protector product like Bullet Liner is a natural fit for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

“We are very excited to be provided an opportunity like this and look forward to a successful, long working relationship,” said Henry “Scooter” DeLaune, President of Bullet Liner. “Pickup bed protection has evolved into a necessity for all light truck owners and the grandstands at Talladega this weekend will be full of them. I know, in partnership with a top team and driver like Wauters Motorsports and Aric Almirola, that Bullet Liner is going to be in the spotlight and up front this Saturday afternoon.”

A fulltime NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver, and experienced NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor, Almirola is making his first start in a machine backed by Bullet Liner and FOAMETIX®. Almirola and team owner Richie Wauters have two second-place finishes together at the 2.66-mile superspeedway in the Camping World Truck Series. Almirola also gave Wauters Motorsports its best result in 2012 Camping World Truck Series competition at Atlanta Motor Speedway with a fifth-place finish.
