Jeff Segal, the 2012 GT champion, and Ryan Dalziel, the Daytona Prototype runner-up, are among eight Petit entrants who raced the full Rolex Sports Car Series this season. They will be joined at the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón season finale by six drivers who drove in at least half of the 13 events, along with two regulars from the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

GRAND-AM and the ALMS announced a merger in September. While both series will run separate schedules in 2013 – joining together for the first time in one weekend at Road America in August – the merged organization will run a combined schedule in 2014, with a target of 12 races.

Segal will drive the No. 31 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup for NGT Motorsport in GTC, while Dalziel joins Alex Popow in the No. 06 CORE Autosport ORECA FLM09 in the PC class. Segal was a three-time winner in the AIM Autosport Team FXDD Ferrari F458 Italia this season, while Dalziel and Popow both won DP races for Starworks Motorsport.

Popow – who won the inaugural Brickyard Grand Prix at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the North American Endurance Championship presented by VISITFLORIDA.com – already clinched the ALMS PC driver championship.

Three-time DP winner this season Richard Westbrook of Spirit of Daytona will drive the No. 4 Corvette Racing Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 with ALMS GT co-champions Oliver Gavin and Tommy Milner. Jordan Taylor and Antonio Garcia – both winners in 2012 Rolex Series competition – share the team’s No. 3 Corvette with Jan Magnussen.

The GT field also includes Rolex Series regular Jonathan Bomarito, driving the No. 93 SRT Motorsports Viper GTSR with Tommy Kendall and Marc Goossens; double-duty driver Bill Auberlen, in the No. 55 BMW Team RLL BMW E92 M3; Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge regular Bryan Sellers, in the No. 17 Team Falken Tire Porsche 911 GT3; and a pair of Extreme Speed Motorsports Ferrari F458 Italias for occasional Rolex Series drivers Scott Sharp, Johannes van Overbeek, Guy Cosmo and Ed Brown.

Hollywood star Patrick Dempsey and Joe Foster – who raced combined schedules this season – highlight the P2 entry in the No. 27 Dempsey Racing Lola B12/87 Judd. They will be joined by Dane Cameron, who ran the full Rolex Series GT slate with Team Sahlen, winning at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The innovative Project 56 LLC Nissan DeltaWing will race in North America for the first time, with a lineup including Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge regular Gunnar Jeannette.

Joining Segal in GTC competition will be two-time Rolex Series GT champion Leh Keen and APR Motorsport driver Dion von Moltke, in the No. 22 Alex Job Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup; Rolex Series driver Spencer Pumpelly, in the No. 66 TRG Porsche 911 GT3 Cup; and Mid-Ohio DP and CTSCC winner Michael Valiante, in the No. 11 JDX Racing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.

The 1,000-mile/10-hour Petit Le Mans powered by Mazda is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. ET on Saturday, Oct 20 from Road Atlanta. Full, live coverage starts at 11:15 a.m. ET on ESPN3 on Saturday, with qualifying coverage beginning at 1:50 p.m. ET on Friday, Oct. 19. ABC's broadcast begins at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, Oct. 21.
