10: The number of races comprising the current winless streak for Chevrolet in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. On Aug. 12 at Watkins Glen, Marcos Ambrose ended a streak of four straight Chevy victories and simultaneously started a string of 10 wins by Ford (three), Toyota (five) and Dodge (two).
6: The number of races making up the longest previous drought for Chevrolet since the current-generation race car was introduced in 2007. In 2010, Chevy endured a winless streak of six races that started with Kyle Busch’s victory in the spring race at Richmond and ended with Jimmie Johnson’s first road-course win at Sonoma.
