SRT Motorsports - Dodge Global Rallycross Series Race Advance - Las Vegas
DODGE GLOBAL RALLYCROSS NEWS
· Dodge has earned one GRC win this season (Loudon).
· Pastrana 199 Racing will field one Dodge Dart for Round Six of the Global Rally Cross Series at Las Vegas Convention Center. Bryce Menzies will pilot the No. 99 Discount Tire Dodge Dart.
· Dodge’s Bryce Menzies has competed in one Global Rallycross Series event for Pastrana 199 Racing – the Summer X Games in Los Angeles (DNQ for Main Event). He also competes in the TORC Series where he is a two-time defending champion.

DID YOU KNOW?
· Dodge’s Travis Pastrana will not compete at the GRC event at Las Vegas. He is recovering from recent shoulder surgery.
· The Global RallyCross Series circuit at the Las Vegas Convention Center will consist of a table-top, cross-over, water hazard and dirt turn with six degrees of banking, all located on the frontstretch section of the 1.5-mile course.
MENZIES SAYS
“I’m really excited to race the Dodge Dart in Las Vegas. Coming from Summer X Games, I really didn’t get that much seat time prior to the event. Rallycross was new to me and I only had two days of testing in California. This time around I feel a lot more comfortable and understand more about how to maneuver the car around. This course in Las Vegas has more dirt, a dirt jump, and some some water sections that will make it a really fun course to drive. I’m looking forward to getting some practice time and see how fast our Dodge Dart is. We‘ve made some changes to the car that has made it a lot better. Just getting more seat time is huge because I’m going up against guys that have driven these cars for years and that’s’ a big hurdle to overcome. I’m looking forward to getting back inside the car and feel how fast the Dodge Dart is. It should be a great atmosphere in Las Vegas with the SEMA show and all the people that follow the industry on hand to watch Rallycross.

DODGE GLOBAL RALLYCROSS REWIND
“The Dodge Dart is the muscle car of the Rallycross Series and I think that its characteristics will definitely help us. The Dart is a little bit bigger, heavier and when we have more dirt and water features on the course, it clearly gives us an advantage. The smaller, lighter cars are better on the tighter asphalt tracks that have been raced on, so this is going to be a great opportunity for us to show how awesome this car is. Travis (Pastrana) won in New Hampshire with dirt and water features; it should be similar in Vegas.”
