Swaim struggled with mechanical trouble during the race and ultimately finished 24th in the 26-car field, but that was enough to win the championship.
Swaim, Rogers and the other UARA-STARS competitors race on Goodyear Eagle bias-ply racing slicks designed for the series’ late model stock cars.
Rogers led all 75 laps of the race around the famed Rockingham oval. He was followed across the finish line by Dillon Bassett, Brodie Kostecki, Blake Jones and Darrell Wallace Jr.
