2012 Phoenix II: NASCAR Sprint Cup Qualifying Results - Busch, Toyota On Pole!

Kyle Busch and his No. 18 M&M's Toyota won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 25th Annual AdvoCare 500 with a lap of 25.943 seconds, 138.766 mph. This is his 10th pole in 292 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. His last pole came in July at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This is also his second pole and 21st top-10 start in 2012. In addition, this Busch's second pole in 16 races at Phoenix International Raceway. His last pole came in April 2006.
Also starting on the front row, Martin Truex Jr. and his No. 56 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota posted his 17th top-10 start of 2012 and his ninth in 14 races at Phoenix International Raceway.
Qualifying third, Denny Hamlin and his No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota posted his sixth top-10 start at Phoenix International Raceway. It is his 21st in 35 races this season.
Stephen Leicht was the fastest qualifying rookie, he'll start 35th.
Kasey Kahne and his No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet will start fourth with Aric Almirola and his No. 43 Farmland Ford rounding out the top five.
Overall, 44 NASCAR Sprint Cup entries attempted to qualify for Sunday's race.
