2012 Homestead: NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Results - Gordon, Chevrolet Win! Keselowski Champion!

In front of 80,000, NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Jeff Gordon and his No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet won the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead Motor Speedway in Homestead, Florida. For Gordon, this is his second win of the 2012 and 11th top-five of the year. It was also Gordon's 87th NASCAR Sprint Cup career victory, and 298th top-five.
Grabbing second, Clint Bowyer and his No. 15 5-Hour Energy Drink Toyota. For Bowyer, this is his 10th top-five of the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, and 23rd top-ten in 36 races.
Rolling home third, Ryan Newman and his No. 39 U.S. Army Chevrolet claimed their sixth top-five of the year.
Kyle Busch and his No. 18 M & M's Toyota led 191 laps to finish fourth, with Greg Biffle and his No. 16 3M Ford.
Brad Keselowski and his No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge did exactly what he need to to claim his first NASCAR Sprint Cup championship with 2400 points. Jimmie Johnson and his No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet finished 36th a stop on pit road on Lap 214 which ended with a loose lug nut. NASCAR then required Johnson to stop again to correct the error.
