Negri Looks For Another Win To Close Out 2012
Michael Shank Racing driver Ozz Negri rode the wave of fan support in the Ford Racing “Tournament of Ovals” Facebook competition right into the finals.

Negri will do battle for the top honor with Marcos Ambrose, who will test with Michael Shank Racing at the Roar Before the 24 at Daytona International Speedway on January 4-6 as Negri recovers from a training injury. Negri will be on hand for the test, but will be donning his radio instead of his helmet as he looks forward to a speedy recovery.
The Ford Racing competition will continue right up until New Years Eve, with fans urged to visit Facebook.com/FordRacing and select the “Tournament of Ovals” photo to lodge a vote for Negri.
“It has been incredible to have this kind of support right now,” said Negri, who scored pole position with a new track record ahead of the 2008 Rolex 24 At Daytona. “It’s funny to be going up against Marcos right now--we will be working together at the test, but in this competition we are fighting for the win! Hopefully we can keep this momentum up with the voting, and no matter what happens I can not wait to get back to Daytona and get to work as we are focused on starting the 2013 season the same way we started it last year!”
Michael Shank Racing will announce its full driver line-up for their 10th Rolex 24 At Daytona event during the Roar Before the 24 Test Days.
