Racing Radios is the official two-way radio provider for all NASCAR national and touring series, as well as the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón.

“Racing Radios has a long history with both NASCAR and the ALMS,” said Richard Buck, GRAND-AM managing director of competition. “We look to build on this synergy as we take the next steps toward a unified sports car series.”

“We have a long-standing relationship with NASCAR, and Racing Radios is happy to expand that to GRAND-AM and the unified sports car series,” said Chris Thornton, president of Racing Radios. “We are looking forward to playing a role in the future of North American road racing.”

Racing Radios began operations in 1974 when NASCAR’s competition department approached Diversified Electronics for assistance with racing radio communications. Racing Radios was formed as a division of Diversified Electronics in 1979, and was incorporated 10 years later. The company is based in Atlanta, with offices in Atlanta and Mooresville, N.C.
