A weekend full of thrills, chills and spills. If you attended the AMSOIL Championship Snocross at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN this weekend you certainly got your monies worth! A great show by anybody's standards. We are very excited to send a shout out to several of our outstanding sponsors that were in attendance - Polaris, Jack Links & SSI Decals. The highlight for our Ross Martin was ONCE AGAIN making his way to the podium in Friday Night's Pro Open Final. Ross had a super start off the line came off the first straight away in second and flew for 22 laps, ultimately finishing second.
Saturday brought unwelcome chills and spills! Ross was run into by a competitor (who was ultimately black flagged after the incident), but Ross managed to get back on his sled and finished the race and thankfully was not injured.
Our Pro Lite Driver James Johnstad was not as lucky when a competitor accidentally landed on him Friday but we are very happy to report he was not seriously hurt. He will be recovering from a torn ligament in his thumb for 4 to 6 weeks but no surgery!
Next - Amsoil Eagle River World Championship - Eagle River, WI,
January 17-20, from there to Aspen, Colorado - Winter X Games,
January 24-27, then back to the Amsoil National Snocross Tour in Deadwood, SD, Feb. 1 & 2.
