Ilmor Engineering senior designer Tony Sime, who -- along with his team in the UK -- developed the 2.2-liter, twin-turbocharged Chevrolet IndyCar V-6 that secured the 2012 IZOD IndyCar Series manufacturer championship, was nominated for the World Motorsport Symposium Race Engine Designer of the Year award.
