Ram Racing Qualify 11th From 82 Entries On Race Debut In Dubai 24H
Johnny Mowlem set a fastest time in the No.30 Ferrari, which is racing under the Pro category, of 2m 01:560 which placed him 11th overall in the combined qualifying time sheets. The very competitive pace brought Britain’s newest international GT racing team to the attention of many as a serious contender for race honours, underlined by the fact that Ram Racing qualified just under two hundredths of a second behind the championship-winning, factory-supported AF Corse Ferrari team. The British driver was confident that this time could have been improved upon had he not been held up in traffic, but is very happy – together with his team mates Guy Smith, Gunnar Jeannette and Cheerag Arya – that the car will be consistent and comfortable for all to drive over the race distance.
