"It's really exciting to be honored during the UARA-STARS Series' awards banquet this year," commented Joyce. "My team and I had a great season this year both on- and off-the-track, and gathered a lot of support from our sponsors, fans, friends and family. While we had some bad luck, we worked really hard all year long and it's nice to have those efforts recognized through the Most Improved Driver Award and the Pig Wire Wiring Harness 'Hard Luck Award.' I'm looking forward to getting back on the track again in just a few weeks."

Joyce was named the UARA-STARS Series' Most Improved Driver and won the Pig Wire Wiring Harness "Hard Luck Award" during the year-end banquet to honor the top-10 drivers from the 2012 season. In his first full-season of UARA competition, Joyce recorded eight top-15 finishes over 16 races, to rank eighth in the final championship point standings.
