Superstars Welcomes Top American Muscle Cars
A brand-new contender is set to join the 2013 SUPERSTARS INTERNATIONAL SERIES roster, as Chevrolet Solaris Motorsport will be fielding a Camaro starting from this season’s opener at Monza, on the 6th and 7th of April. The American brand will bring on-track another spectacular-looking car model, also adding new facets to the already-exciting technical challenge of SUPERSTARS.

After having enjoyed a really successful season in 2012 with the Chevrolet Lumina, including a race win scored by Francesco Sini at Mugello, the Italian-based squad is aiming for more trophies for 2013 with an in-house developed racecar. And once again, Sini will be behind the wheel.
«By lining-up such a new model - said Sini - our goal is to score some serious outright success and persuade Chevrolet to commit to a manufacturer-supported SUPERSTARS program. The final assembly of the car will be completed in March before going on-track for testing, so we will be ready for Race 1 at Monza».

«With no doubt, this car will be in the same weight segment of the other American cars, between 1350 and 1400 kilograms - told Oral Engineering Technical Manager Luca Chinni - Its LS 376/525 engine will develop more than 520 horsepower. I can anticipate that the homologation number will be TSTS0018. We will also analyze the performance of the car once completd».
