Virtuosi UK Signs Andrea Roda

Andrea Roda is the first confirmed driver for the 2013 Auto GP. The Como-based 22-year-old racer signed with Virtuosi UK and will join the series' grid from the opening round of the season, scheduled for the next 24th of March. Roda has recently completed a three-year Formula 3 stint which included the Italian and European championhsips, and will driver the same car that Pal Varhaug raced to end up as a runner-up in 2012.

Enzo Coloni: “I'm proud to see Andrea Roda become a 2013 Auto GP driver. A young guy like him has all what it takes be a contender in an high-quality environment, also thanks to a very professional team like Virtuosi UK. He will be able to continue his developmental path and become more experienced in terms of the set-up and car management over a full race”.

Andy Roche: “It is a great pleasure to welcome Andrea to our team and we are looking forward to helping him achieve the results he so deserves”.

Andrea Roda: "I'm very happy to take this adventure with the team Virtuosi UK, I am confident that we will do well together. It's going to be hard but the first goal is a place onto the podium, then we see what happens".
