Hickory Limited Late Model Champ Shane Lee Set For Two Car Tango In '13
Hickory Motor Speedway's 19-year-old Limited Late Model Champ Shane Lee of Newton, N.C. will be doing the "two class tango" in 2013, competing in both the Limited Late Model and the NASCAR Late Model Stock divisions at Hickory Motor Speedway this year.

"We're going to focus on the Zloop Series races at Hickory with the Late Model Stock so I can get used to that division," Shane said. "I am hoping we will also go race at some other tracks like Motor Mile Speedway in Virginia during the year also. I feel like I'm ready for the challenge."
Defending his championship in the Limited Late Model class is still a very high priority. "That's the reason we're only going to race select races in the Late Model," Shane nodded. "We want to come back strong in the Limited again and hopefully go out a two-time champion. I have only had one year in the big cars so I still feel like the more I race in either class the better I'm going to get. I'm excited about the opportunities in front of me this year!"
Shane enjoyed signing autographs along with about 30 other drivers at last week's Charlotte Checkers "Race Night" and looks forward to doing more meet and greets throughout the year.
