BNT V8 Supertourers Appoints New Chairman And CEO
V8 SuperTourers is pleased to announce that it has appointed the principal of RPM Promotions, Ray Noonan, as its new Chairman and CEO effective immediately. RPM Promotions is an equity partner in V8 SuperTourers and the official promoter of the BNT-backed series.

Current Chairman, Chris Abbott said: "I am delighted to welcome Ray on board as we had been actively seeking a suitably experienced commercial person to take on this role for some time. In my opinion, we have been very fortunate to find such a person in Ray. I have also, along with Mark Petch the founding director of the company, agreed to stay on as one of the three directors representing the interests of the cornerstone shareholders."
Current Managing Director, Mark Petch added: "I am extremely pleased to have someone with the business acumen of Mr Noonan take over the day-to-day running of the company, which has grown way beyond any of our expectations.
"The Board has asked me to stay on as an Executive Director, providing governance assistance in strategic and technical matters and I have accepted that new role and look forward to working with the new Board and Ray as our CEO and Chairman," added Mr Petch.
Incoming CEO Noonan says that he is extremely excited at the opportunity that BNT V8 SuperTourers presents. "I have conducted my own due diligence and was pleasantly surprised at the positive level of solvency in such a young company," he explained. "I will bring my corporate governance and management experience to implement systems and processes that will streamline our ‘back office’ functions and alleviate some of the growing pains that the company has experienced."
Former Acting CEO Didier Debae stays on as V8ST’s Operations Manager, as does Robyn Anderson as the Company’s Administration Manager. The new Board will appoint a further four directors representing the interest of the franchisee SuperTourer teams. These appointments will be announced once they have been nominated at the next franchisee meeting on the 15th of February.
