After starting tenth, Montecalvo charged through the pack to seventh before taking advantage of an early yellow to hand over to his teammate.

The No.16 Aston Martin ran as high as third place with Mancuso behind the wheel in an incident filled two hour, 30 minute event before finishing in fourth - just behind teammates David Empringham and John Farano.

The Frankie Files: Montecalvo looks back at Daytona

I spent the week leading up to Daytona getting ready for our first race of the season by watching past race footage and getting myself mentally prepared for the race. This year marked my third season racing at Daytona and second time with Multimatic Motorsports.

My first race at Daytona was in Porsche during a historic race and then in the Ford Mustang BOSS 302 with Multimatic. In addition, Daytona is on iRacing, so I did some simulator work to re-familiarize myself with all the nuances of the circuit. The more mentally prepared I am heading into a race, the easier it is to find the speed on the track once I’m in the race car.

Jeannette headed to Europe

Bayshore Racing driver Gunnar Jeannette will contest the 2013 European Le Mans Series - doing battle at five of the greatest circuits across Europe with the new RAM Racing squad.

British GT team RAM Racing isentering two Ferrari 458 Italia GTE for the 2013 ELMS championship which visits Silverstone (UK), Imola (Italy), Red Bull Ring (Austria), Hungaroring (Hungary) and Paul Ricard (France) - all current or former venues for the Formula 1 World Championship.

Bayshore Recycling Corp operate six separate and distinct recycling companies within its 52-acre Eco-Complex and Energy Campus in Keasbey, NJ. Each contributes environmental benefit by recycling materials that would otherwise be disposed of in landfill facilities.

Energy conservation and renewable energy are also at the center of the company’s Business Plan with the installation of a 679 kilowatt (9,365 panels) rooftop solar energy system that assists in powering the operations.

Bayshore also plans to add wind and biomass to energy technology to its diverse operations and use the energy produced to complete its corporate vision to operate 100% green businesses powered by 100% renewable energy.

Bayshore’s group of companies include Bayshore Recycling Corp, Bayshore Soil Management, Montecalvo Material Recovery Facility, Coastal Metal Recycling Corp, Dredge Material Processing, Bayshore Consumer Electronics and Bayshore Class-A Recycling.
