The new ECU has forced all team to work a lot in the pits to find a basic set up to begin the practice. Danilo Petrucci has been the only rider that practiced in a consistent way, riding his IODA-SUTER BMW for 27 laps with best time of 2’06.841. The Came Iodaracing Team rider has used his 2012 bike at the beginning without any controls and then step by step, tank to the hard work of his team, has started to delvelop the new electronics.
Lukas Pesek will start to practice from tomorrow if weather condition will be good.
Danilo Petrucci, Pilota MotoGP # 9: "I’m quite happy of what we have done today. Using the 2012 bike has permitted to us to practice without losing a day in the pit. We started without any controls to understand the feedback of the bike at every step of eletronics and that help us to understand the new ECU operation and tomorrow we will begin to develope it”.
