Second Test Day In Sepang: Good Result For Petrucci


Today is the second day of MotoGP Official Test in Sepang and is again Dani Pedrosa to set the best time with 2’00.549 followed by Lorenzo at 0.019 and Marquez at 0.254. The rain stopped earlier the practice at two hours to the end for the most of riders.

It was an intense work day for Danilo Petrucci that finished in 18th position with 2’04.284, after 48 laps, at 3.735 Pedrosa’s Honda. After the problems during the past days to the firmware of the traction control of his bike, that was solved in a very shot time by Magneti Marelli staff, the Came Iodaracing Team rider today has begun also the development of the new ECU getting very good results also because he is the third best CRT in the clasification at just 0.493 from the ARTs of De Puniet and 1.032 from the Espargaro’s one, but they don’t use the new Magneti Marelli ECU.

Lukas Pesek has practiced during the last two hours on the wet track for 14 laps setting 2’21.512 as best lap.

Danilo Petrucci, Pilota MotoGP # 9: "Today we could work for the first time totally on the bike, developing both the new ECU and the chassis. I have to thank Magneti Marelli staff for the great work that they have done, solving in a very short time the problems to the traction control and now we begin to get some good results. Tomorrow we will continue to develope the IODA-SUTER BMW, hoping in good weather conditions”.

Lukas Pesek, Pilota MotoGP # 52: "Today the work was focused mainly on Danilo, but I could practice on the wet where I began to find the feeling with my new bike on those conditions.”.
