2013 Jerez: Formula One F1 Thursday Test Results - Massa, Ferrari Fastest!

Its day three of the Formula One F1 winter world championships at the Jerez circuit in Jerez, Spain.
Leading the way was Ferrari driver Felipe Massa who put up a fast lap of 1:17.879 seconds over 85 total laps. Massa's lap was a solid three tenths quicker than Lotus driver Romain Grosjean's lap on Wednesday, and a full one second quicker than the McLaren driven by Jenson Button on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Nico Rosberg and Mercedes were making up for lost time with a whopping 148 laps with a best time of 1:18.766. Rosberg turned 38 more laps than the next most active driver/team.
Three-time Formula One F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel is back on track in his new Red Bull and was third quick at 1:19.052 and 102 laps.
Kimi Raikkonen and Lotus were fourth quick followed by Jean-Eric Vergne (Toro Rosso), James Rossiter (Sahara Force India), Jenson Button (McLaren), Esteban Gutierrez (Sauber), Max Chilton (Marussia), and Valtteri Bottas (Williams).
Overall, 12 different driver/car combinations completed laps today, with Nico Rosberg and his Mercedes putting in the most time on the track with 148 laps.
