Al Nabooda Racing On Course For Double Title Triumph In Porsche GT3 Cup Series


Al Nabooda Racing is on top of the world of regional circuit racing after an action-packed race weekend in Saudi Arabia, heading both the team and drivers' standings in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East.

Clemens Schmid leads the drivers' championship by six points after a brilliant display at Reem International Circuit where he scored back-to-back wins in Rounds 7
and 8 of the 12-round series.

And the combination of Schmid and Karim Al Azhari has given Al Nabooda Racing a 19pts lead in the battle for the Porsche GT3 Cup series which they are aiming to bring to Dubai for the first time.

Team championship standings after 8 of 12 rounds:

1. Al Nabooda Racing UAE 320pts
2. Saudi Falcons 301pts
3. Team Bahrain 261pts
4. Frijns Structural Steel ME 147pts
5. Gebhardt Motorsport ME 56pts

Drivers’ championship:

2. Abdulaziz Al Faisal (Saudi Falcons) 172pts
3. Karim Al Azhari (Al Nabooda Racing) 142pts
