In the SuperGT category, the season will start under the sign of the traditional Ferrari- Porsche duel. The 458 GT2 of Talkanitsa sr&jr (AT Racing) and Cameron-Griffin (Mtech) will be challenged by 911 RSR of Drivex, with an interesting driver line-up still to be announced.
In the GTS category, the Ferrari delegation will be led by a strong Kessel Racing delegation (six cars, with four GT3 and 2 Challenge). Among line-ups, stick out Flor-Castellacci, and Zanuttini-Gattuso. AF Corse is present with three cars, for UK pair Dhillon-Scott, Ramindra- Sbirrazzuoli and Rugolo-Sdanewitsch (with the German making his come-back after the Spa accident last year). Bobbi-Palmer lead the Vita4One Italy entry, with SMP Russian Bears and Team Ukraine completing the Prancing Horse field.
Two Alméras Porsche will represent Stuttgart in GTS, with the Reiter-prepared Lambo of Kox- Pronk and the Lechner Racing Mercedes SLS of Mario Plachutta also ready to fight for victory.
The Winter Series event at the Ricard (as the Jerez one on 1-2 March) include private testing on Friday, with four 55-minute sessions, while the two 50-minute races will take place on Saturday after a fifth testing session and a qualifying session of 20 minutes per driver. The European F3 Open, as customary, partners the GT open in this Winter Series.
