JiR And Di Meglio Are Ready For The First 2013 Tests
The JiR Team is ready to start their engines for the fourth season of the most challenging and demanding motorcycling world championship, the Moto2 class. After the long winter break the team headed by Gianluca Montiron is going to face the 2013 challenge with renewed enthusiasm, deploying the former 2008 125cc Class World Champion Mike Di Meglio, who is now looking for a strong 2013 after some up and down seasons.

During the incoming IRTA tests the machine will be dressed in the usual orange livery dedicated to Beta, who has been joined by other important partners that will allow JiR to look at the new World Championship with optimism.
The working program that will drive the Championship to its debut in Qatar on April 7th will be composed by eight test days: beside the official IRTA test that will start today, the JiR Team has already booked two private sessions on Almeria circuit on February 16th to 18th and on March 11th to 12th.

This year we will exploit the experience we have gained in the last three seasons in the Moto2 World Championship and we will bring on our choice of the TSR chassis, in its latest evolution step, while all the other parts will be internally managed and developed by JiR. We have in our pockets some technical innovations that will be introduced during the season to keep our performing level always at the top. The entrance of new investors and the rider Mike Di Meglio is a good positive to improve what we’ve done so far, aware that the final part of the jigsaw is always the rider.

I’m very happy to start this new adventure and most of all to make it with such a good team. I’ve worked hard during winter to get myself ready for these first tests, so I feel ready in terms of physical preparation as well as mental and riding-wise and I know that my team has done the same to be at the top competitively. I can’t wait to be in Valencia to get familiar with the team and start this new challenge. That is not one of my best circuits but this is not a relevant point at this time, we have to focus for a good start.
