Fall Line Motorsports/ Trim-Tex Reap Benefits Of Partnership

Fall-Line Motorsports announced a new partner in Trim-Tex Drywall Products just before the Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) season-opener at Daytona International Speedway last month. Trim-Tex, who is the primary sponsor of the #46 car driven by Bryan Sellers and Mark Boden, has a long history in motorsports and joins a long list of prestigious partners in the Grand-Am family who are looking forward to a mutually advantageous relationship.

Trim-Tex, based in Lincolnwood IL, is the premier manufacturer of vinyl drywall beads and finishing accessories for over 40 years. They distribute their innovative products globally to over 35 countries. Trim-Tex coined the phrase "drywall art," which accurately describes the adaptive use of materials and accessories to enhance the standard flat and squared edged world of drywall. Drywall art can be found in a variety of forms, including decorative archways, rounded edges, layering details and tray ceilings.

Trim-Tex hosted a number of guests at the Daytona event and used the time at track to entertain dealers and give back to local customers who have been such a crucial part of Trim-Tex's success. At Trim-Tex, their motto is: work hard, have determination to succeed, keep promises, and the customer is always right. Trim-Tex recognizes this and rewards their customers with behind-the-scenes experiences at the racetrack. Joe Koenig, President of Trim-Tex found a perfect fit with Fall-Line Motorsports. "I have been wanting to form this partnership for quite some time. There are many similarities between my company and Fall-Line and it is a natural association. Fall-Line always produces a top-notch product, doesn't take any short cuts and always delivers what they promise. That is what we are all about at Trim-Tex."

Only Trim-Tex offers "11 ways to..." finish a corner. There are also "11 ways to..." win a Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge Championship, with 11 races on the 2013 circuit. All three Fall-Line cars fell upon unlucky times at the season-opening Daytona race but the BMW M3s have the speed to be contenders and will showcase their performance at the famed Circuit of the Americas in just over two weeks.

Koenig himself has an impressive racing resume. He is a multiple event winner in AMA/NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle as a driver and won the 2003 NHRA Championship as a team owner. Koenig has taken his love of racing from two wheels to four, and competes as a driver in SCCA and (at times) Grand-Am sports car racing with Fall-Line Motorsports. His love of the sport and appreciation for the B2B benefits that a sponsorship in CTSCC and Grand-Am provide is why Koenig chose to bring Trim-Tex to the sport.

Trim-Tex will be entertaining over 35 customers at the Grand-Am race at Circuit of the Americas. The diverse group of dealers, contractors and builders will take part in a VIP event provided by Fall-Line Motorsports and will have a chance to see the beautiful facility through the eyes of a driver and team member. Guests will have the opportunity to take part in pit stops during the race and will be given exclusive tours of the pit and garage area as well as private briefings from the drivers of the #46 car.

Joe Koenig mentioned, "it's always a lot of fun when you can integrate sales, product knowledge and the thrill of racing with customers. It's very rewarding to introduce new fans to the world of Grand-Am with its very exciting racing. From the Daytona Prototypes and the GT cars in the Rolex Series to the multiple manufacturers in CTSCC, there will be plenty of great racing and I am happy to introduce a different type of racing to some potential new fans. I want people to realize that racecars can turn right too."

Team Manager Michael Harvey added, "Not only are we thrilled with the sponsorship that Trim-Tex brings to the table, but also with their enthusiasm for the sport as a whole. Joe (Koenig) is committed to Fall-Line and committed to Grand-Am and is activating the sponsorship in a way that we hope showcases ours and the series' ability to attract partners and take advantage of the B2B opportunities that exist."

Round 2 of the 2013 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge will be held at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, March 2.
