Facu Regalia begun to work yesterday with his new team, ART Grand Prix, and at the wheel of the GP3/13, the car used in the GP3 series. The young Argentine driver didn´t have an easy start in the morning, due to some mechanical problems affecting his car what stopped after a few corners. This problem meant that Regalia and his engineer had to work hard to counteract their disadvantage with other rivals. Then in the afternoon, Regalia was 3 rd with his first set of new tires and finally with the second one finished 9 th among almost thirty drivers on track setting a best lap of 1:28.112. And no less important he was able to beat his teammates.
"The day didn´t start very well with these problems, which we managed to solve afterwards. It was just a first day to start working with the car and, in addition, we don´t know how other drivers set their times, because there was no weighing. It was a first outing to start understanding the new GP3/13 and avoiding any serious problem and no going after times. We barely used two set of new tires and other teams and drivers used four. I was fastest ART Grand Prix driver and it´s a good new, it´s the way to keep working on", Regalia said.
