2013 Barcelona: Formula One F1 Thursday Test Results - Alonso, Ferrari Fastest!

The 2013 Formula One F1 season continues with testing at Barcelona. Today, two-time Formula One F1 world champion Fernando Alonso and his Ferrari were fastest with a lap of 1:21.875. Alonso turned a total of 97.
Second quick honors went to Nico Hulkenberg and his Sauber with a top lap of 1:22.160. He also turned over 90 laps around the circuit.
Romain Grosjean was third quick for Lotus with a lap of 1:22.188. Grosjean gets the workhorse award for the day with a total of 119 laps.
Nico Rosberg (MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS) was fourth fastest followed by Pastor Maldonado (Williams), Valtteri Bottas (Williams), Jenson Button (McLaren), Adrian Sutil (Sahara Force India), Mark Webber (Red Bull), and Jean-Eric Vergne (Toro Rosso).
Overall, 12 Formula One F1 driver/car combinations hit the circuit and put up timed laps today. Testing continues tomorrow, which is the last scheduled day for this week.
