ARCA Daytona Winners Venturini Motorsports Taking The 'Fantastic 4' Teams To ARCA Mobile 200: 15-Year-Old Prodigy Kyle Benjamin Among Entrants

Exposure is, in many ways, the name of the game. And there is no better way to get your name in the headlines than a win at Daytona Int'l Speedway.

Venturini Motorsports is no doubt reaping the benefits of its most recent victory at the "World Center of Racing" during the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards' 50th Anniversary race last Saturday.

And, the headlines for Venturini Motorsports are likely to carry right over into the next event on tour - the ARCA Mobile 200 at the Mobile Int'l Speedway short track Saturday, March 9.

The 31-year ARCA team is coming fully loaded, with four teams, equally balanced in the gender column and heavily stacked in the rookie file.

In fact, Caracas, Venezuela's Milka Duno is the only veteran member of the four-car team for Mobile with 27 career ARCA starts to her credit. For the other three - Justin Boston, Kyle Benjamin and Taylor Ferns - only Boston has competed in an ARCA race, that being at Daytona last week. Benjamin and Ferns are slated to make their career-first ARCA starts at Mobile.

Benjamin, just 15, could become the youngest winner in ARCA history if he can win at Mobile.

Currently, that honor belongs to James Buescher, who won at the now defunct USA Int'l Speedway just two days shy of his 17th birthday.

And while winning at Mobile may be a tall order, don't tell Benjamin, who's currently tearing up the late model short tracks with win after win. The Easley, South Carolina prodigy just won his second straight Super Late Model victory in the 47th annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. Wednesday night. Benjamin won three straight in the same series last year at 14.

Benjamin, the 2012 ARCA CRA Super Series Southern champion, is already the youngest winner in ARCA CRA Super Series history with his victory in the Fatheadz Eye-Wear 100 at Lucas Oil Raceway in 2012.

Benjamin will have another ace in the hole for Mobile - veteran crew chief Kevin Reed, who just earned the biggest victory of his career as crew chief for John Wes Townley, the ARCA winner at Daytona.

Benjamin is expected compete in as many as a half-dozen ARCA Racing Series short track events in 2013. He is entered in the No. 15 Venturini Motorsports Toyota for Mobile.

Duno, who led the first 11 laps at Daytona from her outside front row starting position, is slated to run the full season for Venturini Motorsports in the No. 35 Cantv-Milka Way Toyota.

Boston, who was involved in a multi-car wreck in his debut at Daytona resulting from a nudge from his teammate Darrell Wallace, has also announced a full season in the No. 25 Venturini Motorsports ZLOOP Computer & Electronics Recycling Centers Toyota. The 23-year-old rookie hails from Baltimore, Maryland.

Ferns, the young lady from Shelby Township, Michigan, is slated to make her ARCA debut at Mobile in the No. 55 Venturini Motorsports Toyota. Ferns, 17, tested with Venturini Motorsports at Daytona last December. Currently, Ferns is scheduled to compete in ARCA races at Mobile, Toledo, Elko, Iowa, the DuQuoin mile-dirt, Pocono and Kentucky. An open wheel graduate, Ferns won the 2011 National USAC Mopar D1 Regional Midget championship.

Practice and Menards Pole Award Qualifying presented by Ansell takes place Friday, March 8 with two practice sessions from 2:30-3:15 and from 4:15-5:00. Qualifying follows at 7:00. The second annual ARCA Mobile 200 gets the green flag at 2:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, March 9.
ARCA teams can also participate in an optional practice session on Saturday, March 2, one week ahead of the race, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. The testing opportunity will coincide with Mobile's weekly race card, and offer the chance to test in the evening, about the same time ARCA teams will be qualifying the following Friday.

Packages and tickets are available for the ARCA Mobile 200 weekend by calling 251-343-2929 or on line at www.mobilespeedway.net.

Opened in 1964, Mobile International Speedway is Alabama's fastest half mile and is currently host to the Sunoco Gulf Coast Championship Series and Miller Lite Late Model Series, along with a regular schedule of Saturday night racing.

The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) is among the leading and most diverse auto racing sanctioning bodies in the country. Founded in 1953 by John and Mildred Marcum, the organization administers more than 100 events each year in multiple racing series, including the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the ARCA Truck Series and the ARCA Midwest Tour, plus weekly racing at Toledo and Flat Rock Speedways.
