2013 Daytona: LIVE NASCAR Nationwide Race UPDATE - Major Accident, Parts In Grandstands
By PaddockTalk.com Staff Writers
In front of 57,000, NASCAR Nationwide Race has come to a dramatic end after a huge crash at the end in which a NASCAR Nationwide entry - Kyle Larson and his No. 32 Clorox Chevrolet - got up into the fencing with his entire engine and tire landing on the grandstand side of the track. The entire front end of the car was sheered from the chassis.
Numerous cars were involved in the horrific accident. Its unclear at this time if any of the debris made contact with fans. From our view of the track, we couldn't see any fans on the ground, and it appears that safety fencing did its job.
Hopefully that is the case.
It does appear that Tony Stewart has won the event.
