2013 Daytona 500: LIVE NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Update - Caution Two, Busch Hits Kahne
By PaddockTalk.com Staff Writers
Its lap 32, Jeff Gordon and his No. 24 Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet continues in the lead at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. Kyle Busch has brought out the second caution of the day after apparently hitting Kasey Kahne in the rear, spinning him around and sending him across the track.
Kahne came across the nose of Juan Pablo Montoya - with minimal contact. Meanwhile Kevin Harvick - apparently after a hit from behind - slid up and hit the wall, then slid down the tri-oval and slammed Juan Pablo Montoya and his No. 42 Target Chevrolet.
Also involved in the accident was Jamie McMurray, Tony Stewart, Brad Keselowski, and Casey Mears.
In all, four solid contenders for victory were taken out in the first accident of the day.
