SPEEDCOM Communications Joins Pirelli World Challenge Championships As Official Radio And Communications Partner
SPEEDCOM Communications, the global leader in motorsports radio and communications systems, has entered a three-year partnership with the Pirelli World Challenge Championships as the Official Radio and Communications Partner of North America’s top production car road racing series.

SPEEDCOM, with headquarters in Daytona Beach, Florida and Barcelona, Spain, will be present in the paddock at every Pirelli World Challenge race beginning with 2013’s season-opening event on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida. This is the fourth straight year the Pirelli World Challenge will begin its racing season in Florida with a doubleheader weekend for GT and GTS teams as part of the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg IZOD IndyCar event. Round One is scheduled for Saturday, March 23, while Round Two is on Sunday, March 24.
"We're excited about this partnership from SPEEDCOM Communications,” said Greg Gill, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Pirelli World Challenge. “Our race teams will now have on site track side technical communications support available at all of our races. With a multiple year agreement in place it allows our two organizations room to grow together."
In addition to providing state-of-the art radio systems and service, Pirelli World Challenge competitors will also gain access to SPEEDCOM affiliated companies VisionX Custom Graphics and VisionX Sportswear in the new partnership.
