Positive Second Day At Sepang For Team Go And Fun Honda Gresini
Improved weather conditions on the second day of testing at allowed Alvaro Bautista and Bryan Staring to complete a positive day's work, with Bautista making major improvements to his times (2’01.208). Over 58 laps the Spaniard was able to continue his development programme with Showa suspension and his chassis technicians as they look for a better overall geometry setting before the start of the season. Staring also improved, ending the day feeling tired but satisfied.

Alvaro Bautista “I am happy that we have taken a big step forward today. We are noticing the improvements and now we have a great base from which to finish the job tomorrow. We are finding some great technical solutions, our race pace is good and so is the lap time, which was a big improvement on the last test here.”
Bryan Staring “ I am exhausted because I still need to get used to the physical demands of MotoGP, which isn't easy with the heat here in Malaysia. I am happy though because my lap times are improving and so is my consistency. We have made some good steps with the bike and I have to be satisfied with that.”
Fausto Gresini “It has been a positive day. We have made some good progress with both Alvaro and Bryan and we have some clear ideas of the last few things we need to do tomorrow. We have got a lot of information and Showa are doing a great job. Overall it has been a positive second test here so far and I am sure we can make some more progress tomorrow.”
