8: The number of states Jimmie Johnson visited on his four-day media blitz after winning the 55th Daytona 500 last Sunday. The tour started with the traditional Champion’s Breakfast at Daytona International Speedway and continued to North Carolina, Connecticut, New York, Texas, California and Nevada before the barrage of media obligations ended in Phoenix, Ariz., where Johnson dropped the ceremonial puck before an NHL game between the Phoenix Coyotes and Minnesota Wild.
