2013 Phoenix: NASCAR Sprint Cup Qualifying Results - Martin, Toyota On Pole!

Mark Martin and his No. 55 Aaron's Dream Machine Toyota won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 9th Annual SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500 with a lap of 26.073 seconds, 138.074 mph. This is his 56th pole in 856 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races and his first pole and first top-10 start in 2013. This is also his third pole in 33 races at Phoenix International Raceway. His last Phoenix pole came in last year's spring race.
Also starting on the front row, Kasey Kahne and his No. 5 posted his second top-10 start of 2013 and his 10th in 18 races at Phoenix International Raceway.
Qualifying third, Jimmie Johnson and his No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet posted his 11th top-10 start at Phoenix International Raceway. It is his second in two races this season.
Kyle Busch and his No. 18 M&M's Toyota will start fourth with Jeff Gordon and his No. 24 Pepsi MAX Chevrolet rounding out the top five qualifiers.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was the fastest qualifying rookie, he'll start 12th.
After starting on the pole at the 2013 Daytona 500, Danica Patrick will start 40th.
Overall, 43 NASCAR Sprint Cup entries attempted to qualify for Sunday's main event.
