New Auto GP Completes Vallelunga Test

The new Auto GP car successfully completed its scheduled 2-day shakedown at Vallelunga. The brand-new racer marks the start of a revolutionary era for the series and showed to have speed and reliability in the hands of Ibiza Racing Team. The Italian-based operation announced their entry just one month ago and they were off to a flying start at Vallelunga, with nice weather, clear skies and a temperature of 13° C. The Auto GP technicians focused on set-up development with Giuseppe Cipriani behind the wheel.

Enzo Coloni: "This car is a massive step forward for us. Thanks to these upgrades, we achieved all the goals we had set. We made it more good-looking and very interesting in terms of performance. While allowing the drivers save two thirds of the budget, we got closer and closer to the performance level of GP2. The people at Ibiza Racing Team were enthused and we are extremely pleased with their comments. I'm looking forward to see all the teams on-track in the collective test scheduled for March the 13th at Monza".
