2013 Phoenix: NASCAR Sprint Cup Race Results - Edwards, Ford Win!

In front of 80,000, Carl Edwards and his No. 99 Subway Ford won the 9th Annual SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500, his 20th victory in 303 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races. This is his first victory and first top-10 finish in 2013. He brakes a 70-race winless streak that matched the longest of his career - 70 races that ended in November 2010 at Phoenix International Raceway. This is also his second victory and 11th top-10 finish in 18 races at Phoenix International Raceway.
2013 Daytona 500 winner Jimmie Johnson and his No. 48 Lowe's Chevrolet added a second place finish to post his 16th top-10 finish in 20 races at Phoenix International Raceway. It is his second top-10 finish in 2013.
Grabbing third, Denny Hamlin and his No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota posted his ninth top-10 finish in 16 races at Phoenix International Raceway.
Brad Keselowski and his No. 2 Miller Lite Ford was fourth followed by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his No. 88 National Guard Chevrolet rounded out the top five.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was the highest finishing rookie. He was 16th.
Jimmie Johnson leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup point standings by 8 points over Dale Earnhardt Jr.
