"Throughout the 45-year history of our facility, we have broken many records on the Talladega track," said Brian Crichton, vice president of sales and marketing at Talladega Superspeedway. "Often noted as NASCAR’s most extreme venue which holds the closest competition in professional racing, we are thrilled to implement a marketing strategy that is as unrivaled as our 2.66 mile track. We look forward to reaching new heights in our work with Intermark Group as we begin to push for larger attendance and build excitement surrounding our largest race weekends."

Talladega has tasked Intermark with developing an overall marketing strategy, handling media selections and placement and producing creative elements. Building upon Talladega’s rich history and super-charged race experience, Intermark plans to develop a comprehensive campaign unlike any other NASCAR track or entertainment venue.

With its unique marketing strategy for Talladega, Intermark will work to increase the number of Talladega ticket sales for both the spring and fall race weekends.

"Talladega holds the most competitive and exhilarating races in NASCAR right in our backyard," said Jake McKenzie, chief executive officer of Intermark Group. "We look forward to utilizing our agency’s award-winning creative capabilities and media expertise to drive overall ticket sales and build upon the strong passion for the Talladega experience while yielding measureable results that can be built upon for years to come."

The campaign will also spotlight Talladega’s two largest 2013 NASCAR events including Aaron’s Dream Weekend, May 3-5, and Camping World RV Sales Weekend, October 18-20, consisting of races from the well-known NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Camping World Truck and ARCA Racing Series. Intermark will focus on building excitement around these key weekends, positioning them as the driving forces behind the track’s marketing campaign.
