Zeta Corse Test Renault 3.5 - An Hard Day Of Work For The Zeta Drivers
The second day of collective Formula Renault 3.5 testing at Le Castellet replicated the first one in terms of the weather. The track was damp during the morning enabling the team to research on wet set‐ups, while the sun came out in the afternoon. While Mihai Marinescu drove for the entire day, logging more than 86 laps, Nick Yelloly went behind the wheel only in the morning session before leaving the car to Daniel Zampieri.

Yelloly ended up in 18th of his segment (2'06"994), totaling 29 laps while Marinescu completed 33 laps with a best mark of 2'08"786. Both of them did not get on‐track in the closing stages with improving conditions and laptimes lowering considerably. With the dry, Zampieri improved his feeling with the car and took 21st in 1'48"394, a positive result considered that positions 7 to 21 were covered by just one second. Marinescu ended up in 26th (1'49"994) as he performed set‐up testing.
Claudio Corradini, Zeta Corse Team Manager
"It's been a positive day. For the first time we did not experience a single mechanical problem and we have definitely found the right direction. Our drivers did a phenomenal job an I want to thank especially Yelloly for the feedback he provided to the team".
